DMCA Copyright Policy

Our procedures for responding to copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

1. How SaveKit works

SaveKit is an independent tool for downloading available files from supported public links. It does not sign in to user accounts or bypass privacy settings, paywalls, access controls, or DRM. SaveKit also does not publish media or provide a searchable content catalogue.

When you make a request, SaveKit sends the available source file to your device. To serve repeat requests faster, a non-browsable technical copy may remain in the delivery cache for up to one year. See our Privacy Policy for details.

2. How to send a copyright report

Email support@savekit.io with the subject Copyright report or DMCA notice. You do not need a lawyer or a special legal form. Simply explain which content you want us to review.

3. What to include

Please provide:

  1. The work you own or are authorized to represent
  2. The original content URL and the relevant SaveKit URL, if available
  3. Your name and a working email address
  4. Why you believe the reported use is not authorized
  5. Your typed name or electronic signature

If we cannot identify the content from the information provided, we may ask for more details.

4. How we handle reports

The SaveKit team will check whether the report has a clear basis and identifies the content involved. When appropriate and technically possible, we may locate and remove the related cached copy, record the action taken, and reply by email.

If you believe an earlier report was mistaken, email the same address with the relevant URL and an explanation.

5. What SaveKit cannot control

SaveKit does not control the platform where the original content was published. We cannot remove the source post, revoke a file URL issued by that platform, or guarantee that the same content will not appear through another URL.
